A short overview. The full document below provides the details.
About these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of avowis.com and the Avowis application and related receptionist features. Avowis is operated by Rahul Gupta trading as Avowis (Avowis, we, us or our).
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you act for a business, you must have authority to accept them for that business. Business account holders must be at least 18 years old.
A separately agreed order or written service agreement may specify your enabled features, charges and additional terms. Its specific provisions take precedence if they conflict with these general terms. Nothing here removes rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
What Avowis provides
Avowis helps businesses handle calls and messages, answer questions using business-provided information, manage enquiries and customer records, prepare estimates, organise visit requests and escalate issues to a person. Availability depends on the features and integrations enabled for your workspace.
Some features may be offered as a pilot, preview or limited trial. Examples on the website are illustrative; they are not a promise that every feature is enabled for every account. Avowis does not itself provide the cleaning or other local service that a customer books with a business.
Accounts and business control
Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials and only invite users who should have access. You are responsible for activities authorised through your business account and for reviewing access when staff roles change.
The business is responsible for its services, hours, service areas, knowledge content, price lists, availability, communications settings and instructions supplied to the receptionist. Review these before use and keep them up to date. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Do not submit information or connect a phone number, account, website or calendar unless you have the necessary authority to use it.
AI responses and human review
AI responses, speech recognition and generated summaries can contain mistakes. Review important customer information, prices, bookings and unusual requests. Avowis does not guarantee a particular sales result, perfect transcription or an error-free answer.
An estimate is not a guarantee of the final service price unless the business expressly confirms otherwise. A visit request is not a confirmed appointment until the relevant confirmation is issued by the business or its authorised booking workflow.
The service is not for emergency dispatch or decisions requiring professional medical, legal or financial judgement. Customers needing urgent help should contact the appropriate emergency or professional service directly.
Calls, messages and consent
Businesses must obtain any permissions required for contacting customers, using automated messaging, processing calls, recording where enabled and sending marketing. Provide appropriate notices about automated assistance and data handling. Using Avowis does not establish that a particular campaign or call meets all applicable requirements.
Do not send unsolicited, deceptive or unlawful messages, misrepresent the sender, or contact recipients who have withdrawn the relevant permission. Honour opt-outs and use the service's consent controls. Do not upload purchased lists without a valid basis for the intended communications.
For supported SMS services, message frequency varies with interactions and business activity. Message and data rates may apply. Recipients can reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. A confirmation or other legally permitted message may follow an opt-out; opting out does not itself cancel a booking. Carriers and networks can delay, filter or fail to deliver messages.
Acceptable use
You must not use Avowis to harass, defraud, impersonate others, distribute unlawful content, violate intellectual-property or privacy rights, or bypass another person's consent.
Do not attempt to access another business's workspace, circumvent access controls or usage limits, expose credentials, disrupt the service, or probe systems without authorisation. Do not upload malicious files or instructions intended to override the platform's safeguards.
Your data and content
You retain your rights in the business content and customer information you provide. You authorise Avowis and its service providers to process that information as needed to provide, secure and support your use of the service, subject to the Privacy Policy and any applicable written agreement.
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to supply the information and direct its use. Do not include unnecessary sensitive data in business knowledge. Other businesses must not be given access to your customer information merely because they also use Avowis.
Avowis retains its rights in the application, branding and service technology. These terms give you permission to use the service, not ownership of that technology or a right to resell it without agreement.
Third-party services
Telephony, messaging, authentication, hosting, AI, calendars and payment features may rely on third-party providers. You must comply with terms that apply to services you connect. Provider outages, account restrictions and carrier or model limits can affect availability.
Google sign-in does not connect a Google mailbox or calendar. Additional integrations require their own permission where applicable. Do not treat a demo or an unconfigured integration as a working production connection.
Trials, fees and cancellation
The plan or order you accept determines any charges, usage allowance, trial duration, renewal terms, taxes and third-party costs. Website pricing marked proposed or illustrative is not a binding order. Any chargeable subscription or usage must be disclosed in the applicable plan or agreement.
Free onboarding means setup assistance is free where offered; it does not mean unlimited calls, messages or third-party services. Trial or usage limits may restrict further service when reached.
You can request cancellation through your available account controls or by contacting rahul260492@gmail.com. Its effective date, any remaining charges and refund eligibility follow your agreed plan and applicable law. These terms do not create an undisclosed minimum term, cancellation fee or automatic renewal.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to provide a dependable service, but do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every communication will be answered, delivered or correctly understood. Maintain an appropriate backup contact method and review escalations.
To the extent permitted by law, pilot and preview features are provided as available without a guarantee of fitness for a particular business outcome. We do not exclude liability or statutory warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any additional negotiated liability terms belong in the applicable written service agreement.
Suspension and ending service
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address security risks, unlawful use, significant misuse, non-payment under an agreed plan, or a provider requirement. Where practical and safe, we will explain the reason and how to address it.
When service ends, new automated calls or messages may stop. Arrange continuity for your business number, forwarding and customer enquiries. Data retention and deletion follow the Privacy Policy and any applicable agreement; termination alone is not a promise of immediate deletion of every record.
Updates and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will publish the updated date and provide additional notice of material changes where appropriate or required. Changes do not remove accrued rights or override an existing written agreement without the necessary agreement.
For questions, support, cancellation requests or concerns, contact rahul260492@gmail.com. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or remove access to remedies available under applicable law.
